About the Journal

MEDICAL IMAGING AND RADIOTHERAPY JOURNAL (MIRTJ) is an international peer-reviewed journal of the Slovenian Society of Radiographers publishing articles of scientific and professional excellence in medical imaging and radiation therapy.
The purpose of the journal is to publish articles from all areas of diagnostic imaging (diagnostic radiologic technology, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound and nuclear medicine), therapeutic radiologic technology and oncology. Its aim is to exchange information between practitioners and researchers that are involved in the use of radiological imaging, radiotherapy and interventional techniques. The articles are professional and scientific: results of research, technological assessments, case reports, etc.

We are introducing you to the second issue of the Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy journal, volume 37 (2020). The news about our journal has already spread across Europe, which is evident from the mentioned issue, as in addition to the article by Slovenian authors, there is also an article by Hungarian and an article by Portuguese authors. The journal remains free and freely available to all readers on the journal’s website and in the databases that index the journal.
